Hi! My name is Christy — the artist, designer, and official owner of Ultra Rare Club.

Ultra Rare Club was conceptualized out of my need for a safe space to create and to find myself in the process. As an Asian-American from a multi-racial background, carving my own path to be unapologetically myself has been a journey full of ups and downs, but one I'm most proud of. Ultra Rare Club is a brand and concept I've built to pay homage to it.

Ultra Rare Club was built on three pillars: "Be bold. Be passionate. Be authentic." Through the practice of experimentation, pushing boundaries, and challenging conventional means, the business doubles to provide design services as well as create original art and products.

The art and design behind Ultra Rare Club is primarily influenced by Japanese pop culture and street fashion, taking inspiration from characters like Kuromi and Aggretsuko and J-Metal bands like Baby Metal and Hanabie. In terms of style, it could be described as: yami kawaii, alt-style, y2k, Harajuku, gyaru, dark, edgy, rebellious, and cute.
